Driver Hospitalized After Pickup Crashes Into Tree In Marmora

A pickup driver was hospitalized after crashing into a tree in Upper Township, officials said.

The Marmora Volunteer Fire Company said firefighters and Upper Township paramedics responded to the crash on South Old Tuckahoe Road at around 6:55 a.m. on Monday, May 6. Emergency crews found a pickup that hit a tree with the driver stuck inside the truck.

Seaville and Tuckahoe firefighters were also called to the scene to help with the trapped driver. The driver was freed from the pickup and brought to a hospital.

No first responders were injured. The scene was cleared by around 7:30 a.m.

State police are investigating the crash.
